FAT CALVES? HOW TO REDUCE YOUR THICK CALF MUSCLES
So you have rather thick calves and you might say you have fat calves-so what can you do about them?
First whiles there is no way of spot reducing your calf muscles you can use several ways to lower body fat levels and tone up your calf muscles
And in this article I will show you how to get rid of fat calves

First step is to perform some cardio; cardio if done at least three to four times a week can shrink your calf muscles in size
Next reduce your sodium intake, you want to lower any and all sodium intake for the reason that it helps you retain water in your calves, making them fat or large
Next you need to go on a low calories diet, as fat cannot be taken out of the calf muscles you need to lower the entire body's fat percentage to lose the fat around your calves
And this brings in diet, you have to lower calories so that you may lose fat all over your body, this can be done easily, simply cut calories by 500 a day and you will lose body fat- the faster you lose body fat the smaller and more toned your calves will become
.This procedure runs true only if your calves are fat, if they are muscular there is not much you can do about shrinking them except to atrophy them-this can be done by over training your calves with a weight training routine
Atrophying your calf muscles means basically that you are starving them- and as much as you may want thinner calf muscles I don't advice you do that
It is best to thin out your calf muscles by using a good calf routine which also combined cardio with weight training. You need to train your calf muscles at least 3 x per week- for a length of at least 30 minutes
You may also perform something calmer like walking or jogging outdoors or you may use an elliptical machine-
There is a simple way of getting rid of fat calves and that is to do the following throughout the day: when you are sitting at work, step on your tippy toes
Just lift your toes yup and down all through the day, if you are standing do toe raises by lifting up on the balls of your feet
Running outdoors is also a good way to slim down your calf muscles
, running 4 times a week for 30 minutes will have them toned nicely.
The best way to get rid of fat calves is to weight training them building muscle in the area will make them smaller as they replace fat and burn up more calories. So use a good weight training calf routine- fact is, muscular and toned calves are always sexy so weight train them!
