Fitness and health: 4 pillars for 2010

 

1.Work on  self-motivation.

Everything starts from the mind.

We need motives,inspiration and adequate rationalisation.
We need example!

2.Social support: keep in touch with like-minded people and help/support/inspire each other.

3. Nutrition: it often makes the difference

-learn how to roughly check your calorie intake otherwise you will work in vain

-eat more often and lesser quantities-this is strategic!
Try to spread your daily caloric intake into 5-6 equivalent meals spaced 3-4 hours apart.

-minimize the consumption of processed/packaged/industrialized foods

-minimize your intake of sugar and white flour.
Avoid dead calories.
You cannot afford it!

-avoid   the deadly trans fats at all costs!

-learn to distinguish among fats.

Read about the good fats and strategically intergrate them in your diet.

Demonizing  fats en bloc is a coommon and huge mistake!

-consume  vast quantities of fibrous vegetables on a daily basis
